James is an associate with experience in a wide range of complex and high-value commercial disputes, and has represented clients at all stages of the dispute resolution process.
James has particular experience in civil fraud, shareholder and partnership disputes, contractual claims and mediations. He has acted for both UK-based and international companies and high-net-worth individuals.
James graduated from the University of Bristol with a high 2:1 degree. He joined Gresham as a paralegal and qualified as a solicitor in June 2025 after having completed a period of recognised training with the firm and passing the Solicitor’s Qualifying Examination.
